Montreux Counselling Centre was established in 1988 to provide a humanistic, client-centered approach to individuals suffering from self-negating behaviors; i.e. eating disorders, disordered eating, phobias, panic and anxiety disorders.

Montreux's methodology and program has been created with the understanding that the numerous behaviors of the victim are, in fact, the symptoms of a deeper mindstate termed Confirmed Negativity Condition (CNC).

Montreux is based on treating CNC simultaneously with the symptom. During the process of focusing on and addressing the cause, it has become apparent that the symptoms disappear accordingly.
