Since the 1997 publication of The Secret Language of Eating Disorders, Peggy Claude-Pierre has continued her research into the etiology of Confirmed Negativity Condition (CNC) and its resultant self-harming behaviors.

She is currently completing work on her second book, which will delve further into the predisposition, reasons for confirmation and subsequent formation of this devastating illness.
